Baby: it is go time

The last two days have been full of emotion for us.  Two days ago rachel and I had a false alarm with baby not moving much.  Then yesterday we found out that baby had flipped over and was now breach.  So we came in at 9am to see if we can get her flipped over.  Rachel was very worried all night and so we came to the hospital with very mixed emotions.  The our surprise,  baby had flipped back over last night and we are now good to go for a normal delivery.  Since rachel is now past her due date,  every one agreed that we should just induce and have this baby today.  So that is were we at right now and hopefully things progress quickly

04.10.2013 – Suspended shelving in Garage

I’m sure most husbands have that list of things that their wife would like them to do. It’s often called the “honey do” list and mine hasn’t received a lot of attention until recently.  One item on my list that I neglected for at least 2-3 years was to build some suspending shelving that hangs over the garage door.  With baby #3 coming any day now, we decided that we needed to move some things out of the house and into the garage to make room for even more things inside.  So I recruited my dad and my friend Brad to come over and do a little construction work with me.  We build 2 over the garage and an even larger one along the wall that is against the house. I was able to clear out half of my storage room and move my two extra sets of rims/tires off the floor and into the shelving.  Our van is 201 inches long and my garage is 215inches long…..so it was super important to get those tires off the ground so we can park it inside when we wanted to.
